These new “Winter Biter” Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 in 60-, 65-, 70-, 75-, 80-series tires come with a symmetric tread and its lower profile tires and the wider 45-, 50-, 55-series tires have a directional tread. All of these winter tires tread have flow through grooves that increase traction wet and slushy roads and the other zig zag independent tread allows the tire tread to get through the snow. One of the most important features of the Blizzak WS-50 winter tires are they come with Bridgestone’s Tube Multicell Compound that disperses water to decrease the chances of slipping on a thin water surface that cause icy roads to be so risky.
